We are a private non-profit 501(c)(3), agency, that develops attractive, well-built, serviceable housing, affordable to Napa County's low & moderate income residents. In that effort, we plan and build new housing, we purchase existing, run down properties and rehabilitate them, and we manage low-income rental units. We also provide Resident Services to facilitate the development of resident associations and to help them access the health care, educational services, job training, and social services they need to improve their lives.

Since 1990 NVCH has built, alone or in partnership with others, over 600 new housing units and has supervised the rehabilitation of more than 200 additional units. These include, family apartments, cottages and townhomes, single room occupant dwellings, single family rental homes, self-help homes and townhomes and transitional housing. The agency, in addition, has 300 units in various stages of development or construction. The following is a listing of all our properties.

1) MADISON STREET - a 6 bed group home for the mentally disabled which was rehabilitated in 1992. (pictured at right)

2) PARKWOOD RECOVERY HOME- A 6 bed group home in Napa for those recovering from substance abuse.

3) VON BRANDT NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER - This single family home, adjoining The Courtyard at Oran Court and Mayacamas Village was purchased and rehabilitated in 2002. This center provides needed community services to residents of the surrounding, low income neighborhood, including health screenings, support groups, educational classes, job opportunity seminars, as well as space for meetings and social activities. 4) WHISTLE STOP TOWNHOMES - A 17 unit family rental townhomes in Napa completed in fall 2000. Five of the units are for special needs tenants.

5) ORAN COURT - A 13 unit family rental complex in Napa, rehabilitated in 1999-2000.

6) HUNT'S GROVE - A 56 unit family rental complex, built in St. Helena in 1992. (pictured at right)

7) VILLA DE ADOBE - A 12 unit family rental complex in Napa, rehabilitated in 2001.

8) LA PRADERA - A 48 unit family apartment built in 1994, located in Calistoga.

9) VISTA DEL VALLE - A 14 family rental Modular Homes, rehabilitated in 1995. (pictured at right)

10) STONEBRIDGE - An 80 unit family rental development, completed in 1993 in St. Helena.

11) MARIETTA TOWNHOMES - A self-help sweat equity development, containing 10 family-sized townhomes, completed in St. Helena in April 2000. Owners helped contractors during construction in lieu of a down payment.

12) MOUNT AVENUE COTTAGES - A five cottage family rental complex, located in Yountville. Rehabilitated in 1997. (pictured at right)

13) YOUNT STREET - An 8 unit Yountville apartment complex. Rehabilitated in 1999.

14) NAPA SENIOR APARTMENTS (Also know as THE RESERVE) - A 117 unit low income senior rental complex located in Napa. Completed in December 2002. (pictured at right)

15) MAGNOLIA PARK TOWNHOMES AND APARTMENTS A 29-unit garden style apartment and townhouse complex located in south Napa. All units serve low-income families. Completed and opened July 2005.

16) NAPA PARK HOMES - A 140 unit family apartment complex in Napa acquired in 1995. Rehabilitation on-going. (pictured at right)

17) JEFFERSON STREET SENIOR HOUSING - A 78 one-bedroom units for 62 and older and disabled persons completed in 2002

a 51 unit family rental development, built in 1994.

a 14 unit development of family rental homes, located in Napa and completed in 1999.
