Oak Creek Terrace is proximate and easily accessibility to neighborhood amenities, including public park, public schools, grocery store, destination retail center, public transportation, pharmacy, and other services. The property is located on the north side of First Street. The vacant property contains a number of mature trees within and outside of the northerly riparian corridor. The property is located within an established residential neighborhood with the Creekside Park apartment complex to the east and Napa Creek with single family homes across the creek to the north.
Because this is a family project which expects a number of younger children, there will be a community room with computer work stations. Additionally there will be laundry facilities and an outdoor courtyard play area. This arrangement also allows for a picnic and BBQ area to function in conjunction with the community room. Shade structures will be provided to add interest to the space and protection from mid-day sun during the summer.
Additional outdoor site amenities are proposed to be located in proximity to the Napa Creek and will include seating areas and walking paths.
NAPA CREEKSIDE APARTMENTS
Another current development, Napa Creekside Apartments in Napa, will be the fourth collaborative effort between Bridge Housing and Napa Valley Community Housing. The proposed development will consist of new develpment and a reuse of a vacant assisted living facility on valle Verde Lane. Approximately 62 units will be constructed with a focus on larger units to accommodate families.
The development boasts an excellent location near shopping, transportation, schools, and a hospital. Care is being taken to ensure that the architectural style and massing blends seamlessly with the market-rate, single family subdivision and condominiums built on adjacent land. The proposed project will be completed in 2013.
