Our most recent development Arroyo Grande Villas, in Yountville, originated from an inclusionary requirement for the Bardessono, a luxury 62 room LEED Platinum Hotel. The Bardessono is one of three hotels in the world that has the LEED Platinum rating. Arroyo Grande Villas is proud to have the luxurious Bardessono as our neighbor. The 1.25 acre affordable housing parcel was generously sold to NVCH by the Bardessono family for $1.00.

Arroyo Grande Community Room
Incorporating a green approach from our neighbor, Arroyo Grande Villas has many green building features and energy efficiency measures that include tankless water heaters, dual pane windows, no VOC paints, Trex fencing, benches made from recycled plastics, drought resistant landscaping, highly efficient Daikin Split System heating and cooling along with many other Universal Design Principals and management philosophies.
Through a generous grant from Sustainable Napa County and the Gasser Foundation we were able to install a solar system on the roof of the community building. The system installed will be used to power the community room, manager’s office, laundry room and site lighting. We are looking forward to offsetting our PG&E bills by as much as 60% thanks to this generous grant.
